Boulder Promenade

 Boulder Promenade
This weekend I was finally able to spend hours and hours
dipping into paint, taking brief breaks for leisurely walks, making
lots of iced fruity beverages, and just enjoying the waning summer days.
My favorite autumn season is fast approaching, days of "golden melancholy".
"Boulder Promenade" is 24x30 and the remaining 3 are smaller versions
of the same palette. The challenge to myself was how to reconcile pinks,
oranges, and yellows without screaming "turning leaves".

 "Picket Fences"

 "Around the Block and Back"

 "Pearl Street on Sunday Morning"

I plan to get back to my book making projects tomorrow,
newly refreshed and inspired!

Picket Fence is my favorite. I can "feel" flowers in front of a fence. Glad you had peaceful time to paint.
