These three pieces have little in common
except the use of metallic elements in each.
The first is a stitched collage,
8by10, A Crow's View
using crochet, a button, sketch piece,
and various metallic and scrap papers.
I took this photo, Golden Spotlight,
at the construction site of my sister's
new house. I like the serenity
of the objects captured at the end
of a work day.
This is an altered photo of a copper pitcher
in my studio, Altered Reflections.
I fill the pitcher with lemon water
and sip from it all day long.
I love the changing reflections
that wash over it throughout the day.

Marie, love the structure of your collage and the idea of drinking lemon water from a copper pitcher! The serenity of Golden Spotlight has made me quite jealous. Their are dry wallers working on our walls this week and it doesn't look serene down there to me!
Thanks for your comments Carole!
The contractor my sister is using is a super neatnik. His crew gets rid of all the trash & they sweep every evening before taking off, so it was surprising that there was even anything left to photograph.
Very creative post. I love the way the light is captured in the still life.
that is funny... the all look related to me... love them all....
