The Inspiration Of Spring Skies

Here in this part of Colorado
we are having a record wet May.
We have had everything from days of drizzle
to hard rain and hail,
and snow on Thursday.
The swiftly changing skies
offer artful inspiration all day long in the studio.
The above photo on the left
is a 30by6 collage on wood panel
made with inks, oil on tissue, gesso and acrylics.
The photo to the right  is my pepper plant
in front of a studio window filled with falling spring snow.

We've had blue skies too,
filled with a great show of the art of clouds,

a bit of everything, like this 8by10
collage on board with molding paste,
inks, oil on tissues, gesso and acyrlics.
