Let It Be

"Let it be."
Some years ago I painted a series of Goddess faces and since then I have altered the photos many times and continue to find myriad ways of interpreting what grace they might bring into my life. I love to play with abstract layers that I make in PaintShop Pro where the new images that emerge can either amuse or astound with what they communicate.

"Serenity's long time coming."
I see possibility; chaotic redemption, a deluge of emotion surfacing.

"Merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream."
Surprising messages to let go, to enjoy the ride.

"Living Shadows"
And always a discipline of opening the heart, letting in the daily yin/yang, and the gratitude of pursuing the task of bearing new images into the world.

Love this quote from Carl Jung:
" A work of art is like a dream; for all its apparent obviousness it does not explain itself and is never unequivocal. A dream never says: "You ought," or "This is the truth." It presents an image in much the same way as nature allows a plant to grow, and we must draw our own conclusions."
