Two Sides

My mate has been learning to play guitar for a very long time! Recently he has been learning Bob Dylan's song of the 60's, With God On Our Side, which takes 15 minutes to play all the way through. The lyrics are certainly relevant to the current polarization running so starkly through the world. Must have been the inspiration for the collage. Was definitely the muse for the poetry.


There are two sides to everything.

Your head can spin at the injustice,

surely your side holds all the trump cards,

surely your aesthetic wins. Old wounds, new visions.

But there are always two sides, and then 2 more after that.

The gods play court to split decisions all day and night.

You must choose: yes/no, heart/head, both/neither.
