Gallery Corner
I have been re-organizing the studio. I've taken lots of paintings down and the space seems bigger and more open to new work. I hauled a bunch of boxes of craft supplies over to Task Force in hopes that they will be put to good use instead of laying in wait in my closet. It all feels like a new start even as we expect another foot of snow here in my neck of the woods!
Begin again! My ongoing mantra.

I bought some branches of pussy willow and curly willow to cheer up the place. I love the way the curly willow branches leaf out and sprout in water.

Not Good With Numbers
I was able to get a little work done like the collage above. The clown is a transfer of a painting I made and the vintage cigar labels were given to me by a friend.

Faces At My Window
I continue to experiment with the modeling paste and alcohol inks. (The ink is an Adriondack product that is transparent and can be layered to create new colors.)

Today I posted a poem on facebook - Rumi - called Begin. Such a beautiful word. Begin, and begin, and begin.
cleaning out your studio is a good sign of spring coming-- throw out the old and begin with new-- love your art pieces here.
