We woke up to new snow again this morning, but hey it's March 1st! I have never been so glad to change the studio calendar. Spring is on it's way. La Primavera is awakening!
And it's my mate's birthday. Cheers!
New collages. This one seems to be an opening into ancient wisdom. I like to think so anyway.
Two new collages of Dora Maar. This one on an 8by8 wooden panel. The large figure is a transfer of a Picasso painting of Maar. The small blue portrait is a transfer of "Picasso" by Maar.
Second Dora collage. This on 10by10 canvas. The photo is not square because it would not fit into my scanner. The transfer photo is a portrait from the 1930's.

Happy birthday to your mate and hope it was fun! Loved the transfers and collages! Roll on spring there as that means winter here (which is never cold, and I'm over the humidity!)
