Computer Studio

Is it a bird, is it a plane?
It' Super AB (altered book).

One of my favorite ways to digitally alter photos is using the Rotating Mirror function of Paint Shop Pro. Depending on where you place the horizontal and vertical offsets and the rotation angle, original (one of a kind) images appear upon the screen. I know that some artists do not consider digitally altered images "art", but I do. Besides a little computer savvy , it requires an eye for composition, the willingness to "see" visual possibilities, and the desire to use whatever technology can teach to broaden an aesthetic point of view. (And love surprises!)

Wasp Nest And Wooden Earring

Primitive Stone Faces
(The pink triangular ones look like perfect snake heads!)

Egg Shells

I am one of those artists who thinks that digital imagery is a wonderful art form-- you still have to consider color sense, composition, unity, balance, and all the elements and principles of design-- these are wonderful too.
