Vertical Blues

Returned yesterday from a 3 day whirlwind tour of New York City.
I took hundreds of photos but my favorites are the "vertical blues",
upward views of  skyscrapers and iconic architecture,
in a  bustling city of history, culture, and commerce.

I fell in love with the lines against moving clouds!

The busy-ness is breathtaking.

The afternoon light creates marvelous shadows on towering windows.

Looking up to fractured skies is mesmerizing.

The new Memorial Center Tower rises with hope and resolve.

High rise photos taken from a double decker bus
are just the ticket to vertical blue passageways!

"The Lady"   is ever beautiful, ever inspiring, thousands of people
from all over the world still visit daily.

Marie, your photographs are splendid and capture the architecture beautifully against the ever changing firmament. One day I may get there.

Those blues are stunning, Marie.
One day I hope to see NY and visit Ms Liberty.
