I am finding lots of mark inspiration from the winter storms we've been getting. The gray days, the blizzard white outs, and the snow accumulation all have their say in the winter lines.

I spent yesterday finishing this painting. It is very colorful but I found that it looks better digitally altered in black and white! Must be the snow days....

I love the bare black and white sketches in Nature during the winter months. I am beginning to wish for the smells and warmth of a Spring day and so grateful for the longer hours and minutes of sunshine with each day.
