Composition Out of Chaos

 The backgrounds are fun to make, but they need to be reigned in to make a picture. I don't know what this one is saying, but I like the composition, textures and shapes enough to let it be.

I tried pure abstraction with this piece, using color rather than concrete forms for balance.  I am naming it "Nebula".

Cat, I agree! It's a long process of learning to "read" what's going on in any given piece, always a challenge.

I LOVE Nebula. You do a lot of nebula paintings. Not as many as you do faces, but still, a lot. I love them all!
