It's The Tunes Baby!
I made this painting on Sunday
listening to Salsa and Jazz!
It is a diptych on two 24/18 canvass panels,
acrylics and gesso.
Fun to just let go!
This digital image seemed to resonate with
the above painting: there is a ripple
effect to everything.

lovely and sounds like fun... so sad about the fires, I am thinking you are near larkspur, and not close? sending thoughts of rain...
This sounds like a wonderful inspiration to ease myself back into the regular studio time. I have just completed four months of intensive outreach here at our Dawes Arboretum. "Whispers in the Trees" opened the APGA conference last week with 350 visitors who really seem to enjoy this unique installation. I am also praying for you and your family as the hopes that the fires will soon be extinguished. Peace be with you, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
Oh it was nice to catch up on your blog now that the Artwalk is over and I can spend some time visiting. That must have been some hopping good salsa and jazz you were listening to, Marie!
Thanks Cat! There have been pre-evacuation warnings as close as Palmer Lake, but things seem to be holding steady.
Thanks Mary Helen...I'm sure all of your hard work is much appreciated.
Hope you had a great time at the Artwalk. Will catch up with your news soon.
