 For the Birds

I made this altered photo years ago

and it remains one of my favorites.

I used the rotating mirror function

on Paint Shop pro to alter the photo below 

that I took in Pueblo, Colorado

of a vacant building in what once was

the Pueblo Ordinance Depot.

The altered image looked like bird houses

so I cloned in some clip art birds,

and viola! "For the Birds" was born.

It is the element of surprising recognition

that most motivates me to digitally

alter photos.
