It's estate sale Friday again here at Cinnamon Studio.
There is nothing better than an artist's estate sale and today
we went to 3!
The first one was the home of an artist and teacher.
She had grab bags of handmade books.
In the one I grabbed there was this long and skinny
accordion book.
That I love!
Here is a close-up.
And this handmade book, "frayed".
And these two little books with handmade paper covers.
And this handmade book entitled "chips and salsa".
All have wonderful collaged pages.
All for $7!
I found these great pencil sketches at the second sale.
This isn't a great photo, but it's a pretty good sketch
by a boy in the thirties. One dollar.
Same artist working the piano. One dollar!
Third house I found a roomful of pre-sketched but unpainted
canvases. I bought two 30x20 something for 2 bucks each.
(I had to really enhance the pencil sketch .)
It was a good sale-ing day!

Thanks Carole! It's so much fun to "go through" other artist's stuff!
