Celebrating The Pulse

Yesterday I received my copy of Seth Apter's book

"The Pulse of Mixed Media: Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed".

The photo reveals my excitement, joy, giddiness, glee,  and sheer delight

in being a part of  Seth's ultimate collaboration (so far!) of  the community

of mixed media artists.

 I am both humbled and thrilled to  have my work 

shown with such a diverse, talented, honest, hardworking

and passionate group of folks.

these pages.  Mine has the red arrow pointing to it!)

I think it is going to take awhile for me to digest

all of the inspiration and good will that comes through

in this publication. I think it might well become the handbook

for the ever emerging and evolving  genre of mixed media artists.

Seth, you've done an exceptional service for us:

you celebrate our work, you honor our commitment,

and you bless our inner selves by providing 

a platform of communal trust and belonging.

And in doing so, your own work, your story and portrait

are marked with an exemplary  model for giving the very best of yourself.
