Baby, It's Cold Outside

  Snow Day

Two Feet And Still Coming Down

Big Announcement : Map5
I  have really enjoyed my map making project, however
so far I've yet to get either a clear photo or scan of the work.
Neither the detail, texture or text is clear, which is
disappointing because I think the pieces are good. I have not had
any idea of where I'm going with any of the maps, and leave
it up to my instinctive guide to show me the way. Today
I spent several hours in the studio, ignoring the
blizzard winds outside and was enjoying the
blue space and land shapes forming. After  I was finished
gluing paper and painting I felt that it was
perfect for the "big" announcement I was thinking about
making in this post:" Another Imaginative Leap!"
Well cousins, it seems that I have finally made it to the Etsy
bandwagon, and have started up a store.
It is called Kinspiration and is a collective for artwork and
crafts from myself and brother and sisters.
I hope to successfully link the site to this blog's sidebar,
but if you would like to check it out the url is:

Have a look if you are so inclined!
Thanks.

Marie, I love your new About Me photo! We are now into the foggy month of February. The fog rolls up the hill around the houses and through my yard. It's almost eery feeling when it encloses the entire house with its whiteness.
Is the first image done with charcoal or paint or mixed. It reminds me of my kids when they were little and wore snowsuits to play in the snow.
Keep warm.

Hope you are surviving the storm OK
Mary Helen!

Carole, I like the fog, but it can be eerie!
My "bundled kids" image started out as an ink blot & then I went in and "found" the faces to paint in. It reminds me of snowsuits too!
Thanks for noticing the new photo!
