Hi, aren't estate sales great places to find interesting pieces for collage work! The collages are very different from each other. Were they done one after the other?

Hi Carole!
Actually I did the second collage first, with the idea of using the vintage book cover & ephemera. I did the letter collage after an afternoon of getting nothing done & then remembering the letter I'd bought months ago.
The collages are both very different with the only similar element being foreign text.
Thanks for stopping by.

Marie, I have never been to an estate sale, but I am imagining the joy of finding treasures. Ypu have used these finds well, in two different styles. The first appears modern while the second, old world.

These are wonderful. Just love your two works- each so different with their own personalities. I love working with stamps and old letters etc. Just love how you did the overlays on your Dante piece!

Good to hear from you Sylvia!
Yes the two pieces are very different...the materials I use 'want what they want' and I just follow along.

Thanks for stopping by Jill! I appreciate your comment.
