I saw this image through a wine glass while working on the computer and luckily I had my camera on the desk! It is the actual photo, no retouching of any kind. I really like the abstraction and the colors.

I have been working away in the studio. The challenge I've given myself for my collages is to work with only a given few elements for each piece, papers, fabric etc., and no more. I made the above textured pieces with molding paste & dye. So far I've been productive, but much of the work is very coarse and primitive looking.

"Pink Elephant"
This is a collage made from lots of different hand painted papers.

"She Never Knew If She Was Coming Or Going"
My work is definitely changing and I'm just going with the flow and trusting that I will find my way through.

"On Eagles Wings"
Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of my mother's death. I wanted to commemorate it somehow in a painting. Working totally instinctively this was the happy (for me) result.

I so like your photos...love the second one, what wonderful shapes and texture. I do the same thing...limit my materials so as to focus...I like this work!
The image through the wine glass is stunning! Of course, as an artist you would notice it! I like the idea of putting some boundaries around your work to help the focus. Good idea!
