The Box

I finally found an old "compartment" (?) box to house a bunch of old and ruined brushes I've been saving for assemblage of some kind. I added old watch parts and dried up watercolor tubes in the bottom and for the center I made a 5by7 inch abstract collage on canvas. (The top part of the center has pasted papers on it.)
I'm glad I found a use for all these things in which I find so much character and remaining possibility. Wish I could find more of these boxes!

Close up of the collage.

This is one of my digital compositions that I am really liking. It has lots of "compartments" too! I think it is something I would like to try to paint large. It's on the back burner anyway.

Love boxes with little compartments! Printmakers trays and the like are so hard to find here! What a great way to use up some of your old inspirational bits and pieces Marie!
