A good challenge is always good for stretching the creative muscles. Michelle Ward at GPP Street Crusade has a monthly creative crusade & this time it is "Make It Your Own". I had this very old & stained apron that I have been meaning to make over for some time. I collect lots of vintage embroidery & quilting pieces & crochet lace from estate sales & wanted to use some of them for Le Lapin! This was the perfect opportunity. (Thanks Michelle!)

Voila! (Goodbye Bunny!) Not your Grandma's apron fer sure! After I had sewn on the vintage pieces I spray painted stencils overall. I really like the way it brought it all together. The bottom part has been divided into two very large "deep" pockets! I can't imagine what I'll put in there, but I'm sure I'll come up with something! Was a very fun project & a good vacation from my usual MO
