Cinnamon Studio Going Digital

Bright New Beginning

For awhile now, I've been wanting to change

the direction/ focus and format of Cinnamon Studio.

After posting about my studio practice since April of  '09,

it's hard not to repeat themes and thoughts

even though I've tried to remain open

and fresh in what I create.
Still, while I am not exactly  going through a
major art block, I have been having
some difficulty in making anything new
that  I can really get excited and passionate about.

So what I have decided  to do for the time being

is to go "digital" for my posts.
(I know much of what I've been showing
lately has already been altered photos/digital collages,
but for now my intention is to limit myself here
 exclusively to that medium.)

Working with digital art remains fun,

exciting and energizing for me and hopefully

that will  be transferred to my blogging.

I will post a piece a day

and comment on what it brings up for me.
