I am still making the daily stitched paper collages and have added abstract paintings made with alcohol inks to my routine. I find it interesting that in each I am using similar pallettes and exploring similar shapes and compositions. There seems to be a definite dialogue going on..."add this, try that, don't settle for the familiar."

I found this quote on the whiskey river blog that reflects what I'm trying to do perfectly:
"....in the future I will relaxedly turn back to my secret mind to see what it has observed when I thought I was sitting this one out. We never sit anything out. We are cups, constantly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip over and let the beautiful stuff out."
