Pink Trail
Recently Pam Farrell, http://pfarrellartblog.blogspot.com/ ran a fantastic post showing a collection of artists use of the color pink in their work; I was fortunate to be included. Since then I have been experimenting with the color and find it stimulating to have it around.
Two things I did not know about pink: it makes us crave sugar, (like frosted valentine cookies!), and it has been used in prison cells to effectively reduce erratic behavior!! Diana Vreeland thinks that pink is the navy blue of India.

This is my latest piece. Bits of painted paper machine stiched into a crazy quilt. It reminds me of Nick Drake's song 'Pink Moon'
Saw it written and I saw it say
Pink moon is on its way
And none of you stand so tall
Pink moon gonna get you all
It's a pink moon, hey it's a pink moon.
Pink, pink, pink, pink , pink moon.
