Have begun a new series of geometric collage using leftover painted paper cut-ups & transfers of old photos.
I'm happy with the sassy Flapper who seems to be confidently grounded while the earth spins behind/within her.
Another collage using a photo transfer of Dora Maar; a profile map or internal weather flipped outside.
Angles of ink, old letters and text: bars of containment, blue stains that force parameters, words that approximate ongoing conversations with someone felt but unseen.

yes your flapper is great, and our sunrises and sunsets HAVE been magical haven't they, and i am really enjoying this mini drought we have been in, last year we had about 4-5 feet of snow by now!! xx's
