Waves of heat rising, soaking, multiplying rivulets of glare.
It is best to stay indoors with a little couch therapy in the basement where it is cool.
The sun swim is not for me.
Rather to bask inside the rays of the virtual studio's altered photo light
and make abstracted sunflowers
and fantasy summer spots
far from the record breaking temperatures outdoors.

oooh that last piece really says hot to me!! hot here in CO, no doubt, but it was REALLY hot in Taos inside all those adobe buildings with no air conditioning!!! yikes!!!
