I have not decorated a Christmas tree in at least 20 years, (long story) but I always have lots of seasonal things around the house. This is one of my favorites: a vintage angel that belonged to my Mom and ornaments inside a glass Christmas tree.
I always buy a Rosemary plant cut like a fir tree...the scent is wonderful and I season up meals with it.
Today I found a little studio time to make this "spool" tree from vintage book pages. It's about ten inches tall and I used various sized round punches and a dowel center. I like it so much I want to make a couple more.
OK, I bribed this beauty with apple slices to get this pose! (I swear she is smiling!)
