Pages From A Southern Hemisphere

I have been in Salt Lake City with my sister while she recuperates from surgery and got back last night. I think the time was restful for both of us. I took along a project to work on and was able to complete a little "postcard" book made from the hand painted papers I received from Studio Sylvia from the Woven Letters paper swap. I was so happy to use Sylvia's papers that traveled all the way from Australia to find a home. This is the front cover of "Art Street: Down Under." It has 30 pages of little collages. I worked on them at such a slow but deliberate pace that it felt like a meditative experience.

My intention was to use images sparingly so that the background papers would highlight what I chose to put down.

Uncover new worlds

of dream time
in pages from a southern hemisphere.

I am looking forward to blogging again and catching up with my favorite blogs.

Hi Marie. Trust your sister is on the mend. I am happy to know that you enjoyed using the papers - the pages look wonderful.
